Getting started

Is there a free trial?+

Yes — 14 days on every paid plan. No credit card required to start.

Do I need to install anything?+

No. TinSuite is web-based and works in any modern browser. We also have mobile-optimized layouts.

Can I import data from QuickBooks or Xero?+

Yes — import your chart of accounts, customers, invoices, and historical transactions. See our Help Center for step-by-step guides.

How long does onboarding take?+

Most businesses are set up in 15-30 minutes. Complex multi-entity setups take longer, and we offer white-glove onboarding on Business plans.

Does TinSuite handle sales tax?+

Yes — Wayfair-compliant sales tax for all 51 US states and all 13 Canadian provinces. Automatic rate lookup, nexus tracking, and filing-ready reports.

Can I connect my bank?+

Yes — via Plaid, we support 12,000+ US and Canadian banks. Transactions auto-sync daily and categorize using AI.

Does TinSuite support multiple currencies?+

Yes on Pro and Business plans. We fetch exchange rates daily from ECB and re-measure as required by US GAAP.

Can I white-label invoices?+

Yes on Business plan. Custom colors, logo, footer, and even a customer portal at your own subdomain.

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?+

All major credit cards via Stripe. Annual plans can also pay via ACH.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Billing is prorated.

Are there any setup fees?+

Never. The price you see is what you pay.

What about refunds?+

Not prorated for partial months. If you cancel, your subscription continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

Security

How is my data secured?+

TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Bank tokens are encrypted with keys we control. Optional 2FA and single-sign-on.

Where is my data hosted?+

Primary: Hetzner, Germany (EU). Backups: S3-compatible object storage, multi-region.

Are you SOC 2 compliant?+

SOC 2 Type II audit in progress. Infrastructure follows SOC 2 principles from day one.

Can I export my data?+

Any time, no fees. CSV, JSON, or PDF exports are available from Settings → Data Exports.

Cancellation

How do I cancel?+

Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Two clicks, no hoops.

What happens to my data after cancellation?+

Free account continues with 90-day read-only access, then archived. Export your data first if needed.

Can I delete my account entirely?+

Yes. Settings → Account → Delete. All data permanently removed within 30 days, except legally required billing records.
